Coil building is one of the most useful, flexible and dynamic construction techniques in clay. Create organic vases, decorative bowls, wild organic sculptural forms, or add on to thrown form for height. In this workshop, students will learn basic coil construction, decorative and expressive techniques, and complex construction depending on skill level. 

Surface and glaze options will be shown and discussed. Students will be able to glaze things during the following session.
